New Kia Electric SUV Coupe Concept Showcased
Kia Motors revealed its new Futuron concept earlier this month, an all-wheel-drive SUV coupe that shines a light on Kia’s plans for future electric vehicles. This vehicle represents the modern and confident image of a progressive new Kia-envisioned SUV coupe, and it shows a strong and innovative automotive future. A Flexible and Autonomous Cabin
The new Kia Futuron incorporates level four autonomous driving systems as well as an electric powertrain system, giving a cabin unlike any other on the road today. The two front seats are created out of a flexible material and offer an upright driving position or a reclined resting position depending on the desire of the passenger or driver. Additionally, the interior will form a sort of “cockpit” area around the driver, giving greater overall user connection.
This includes a graphical user interface (GUI) that flows out of the driver-side door and wraps around the steering wheel in a seamless arc. This GUI displays useful information about the vehicle’s driving process, letting you create a unique user experience.

A New Tiger-like Design
The Kia Futuron features a new “tiger nose” grille appearance, a signature look for many Kia designs, but this appearance has been widened with the shape of the vehicle deliver a restrained and elegant look. The mentioned grille also incorporates the Futuron’s headlamps which gives the vehicle a dazzling new night-time identity. Additionally, the design of the Kia Futuron also incorporates Chinese legend in the design with Star Cloud Lighting.
This features a Dragon Skin surface that uses lighting to emulate scaled armor like a dragon from mythology, giving a unique look to the vehicle.
